Mission Statement
The mission of Learn with the Best’s Transitional Kindergarten is to educate
students by providing a dynamic educational system in which children
actively participate to become lifelong learners. We emphasize a caring and
supportive staff who will guide our students down a life path of academic,
social and emotional confidence and success. We promote partnership
between our school, our families, and our community to allow a multi-
dimensional approach to the structure of our school.
Language Arts
To develop listening, speaking, reading, writing, and thinking skills that are
essential for learning and interaction in our world of language.
Math
To develop mathematically literate students who value mathematics, have
confidence in their own math abilities, and who can communicate, problem
solve and reason mathematically.
Science
To develop key concepts of scientific language, attitudes, and process skills
such as: predicting, observing, measuring, recording, data collection,
classifying, and drawing conclusions.
Social Studies
To develop an understanding of our world, it’s history, geography, and people.
Arts
To expose children to a balanced education of music, visual arts, and
physical movement.
Social Emotional Development
To implement a relationship-based community model of classroom
management based on strong communication between children and peers and
children and adults.
