Learn with the Best is proud to extend their educational services with Learn with the Best School, Inc. This highly individualized educational program is for students Kindergarten through 5th grade who are struggling to learn in Wake County public or private school settings.

1 More One-on-One and Small Group Support
We provide schooling for children who need more one-on-one and small group support in a low stimulation / high interest environment. Students will be educated in a 4:1 student to teacher ratio with instruction being presented in reading, writing, math, spelling, science, social studies, and social skills.

2 Direct Instruction Lessons and Multi-Sensory Approach
Knowing that not all children learn the same way, our instructors teach direct instruction lessons in all subject areas and we educate using a multi-sensory approach including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic cues to enhance the learning process for all children. We also use specific teaching techniques to work with children with dyslexia or who have general number reversals and/or letter reversal issues.

3 A Safe Place for Sensory Stimulation
Learn with the Best School offers a sensory room and safe place for children who need sensory stimulation in order to refocus or release frustration. We also have visual schedules for each student to help them track their school day and to connect with a behavioral plan if needed.

4 Confidence and Leadership Skills
Our elementary students also have the opportunity to be peer mentors for students in our Transitional Kindergarten class by joining them for social opportunities such as lunch, reading buddies, class parties, field trips, and/or inside play. This is an excellent opportuity for our older kids to work on social and leadership skills and gain confidence.

5 Extended and Modified Traditional Calendar
School days are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm on an extended and modified traditional calendar, which runs through the end of June. After school care may be an option for families needing a longer school day.

The mission of Learn with the Best School, Inc, our K - 5 Private School, is to educate students by providing a dynamic educational system in which children actively participate to become lifelong learners. We emphasize a caring and supportive staff who will guide our students down a life path of academic, social and emotional confidence and success. We promote partnership between our school, our students, our families, and our community to allow a multi-dimensional approach to the structure of our school. Our teachers' experience include autism specialists, regular and special educators, and speech therapists.

Unlike traditional public or private schools, Learn with the Best offers educational opportunities for children who struggle socially and / or academically including typical children and those with mild autism, developmental disabilities (DD), ADD / ADHD, anxiety, dyslexia, and learning disabilities.
